Ty Lawson had 23 points and eight assists, and the Denver Nuggets easily won their eighth straight game over the visiting Toronto Raptors, 123-90 on Monday.

Nene added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Nuggets (42-29), who moved to within four games of fifth-place Oklahoma City in the Western Conference and five ahead of ninth-place Houston.

The Nuggets, who led 72-44 at halftime and by as many as 40 in the fourth quarter, had seven players score in double figures as they snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 10-4 since trading Carmelo Anthony.

J.R. Smith tied a career-high with eight assists and added 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Al Harrington had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Nuggets.

Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points for Toronto (20-50), which is 6-28 on the road and has lost 15 of their last 16 outside Canada.
