Heat 104, Bobcats 96 (OT): LeBron James scored six of his 34 points in the waning moments of overtime to help visiting Miami defeat Charlotte for the 15th straight time.

James also had eight rebounds and six assists for the Heat, who lost their last two overtime affairs. Chris Bosh finished with 25 points and seven boards as Miami improved to 2-3 on its six-game road trip.

Al Jefferson led the Bobcats with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Ramon Sessions scored 16 points off the bench while Gerald Henderson and Anthony Tolliver chipped in 11 points apiece for Charlotte.

After James missed a potential game-winner at the end of regulation, Bosh gave Miami a lead to open the extra session and Ray Allen's runner made it 96-93 with 2:40 left. Josh McRoberts made two free throws for the Bobcats before James answered with two of his own and then a pair of layups to help seal the win.

The Heat had an early seven-point advantage but Charlotte shot 61.1 percent in the second quarter en route to a 60-53 halftime lead. The margin was down to one point after three quarters and tied at 90 before both teams went scoreless over the final three-plus minutes to force regulation.
