Senior forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 14 points and 10 rebounds as No. 15 Washington routed Eastern Washington 98-72 Tuesday night at Seattle.

Holding a 42-34 halftime lead, the Huskies didn't waste time in putting the Eagles away in the second half. Back-to-back 3-pointers from Abdul Gaddy and Justin Holiday gave the Huskies a 61-39 lead, and sparked a 19-5 run in the first five minutes.

Washington's lead would grow to as many as 28 points as they outscored the Eagles 56-38 in the second half to improve to 2-0.

Holiday scored a team-high 18 points for the Huskies, who had eight players score eight points or more.

Kevin Winford came off the bench to score 14 points, and Tremayne Johnson had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Eagles.

Eastern Washington was missing starting point guard Glen Dean, the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year who has a stress fracture in his foot and is expected to miss two more weeks.

The Huskies, who lead the intrastate rivalry 11-1, will next play Virginia (2-0) in the Maui Invitational on Monday.
