Tony Mitchell led the way with 20 points and 13 rebounds as Alabama dominated South Alabama 72-50 on Wednesday.

Charvez Davis added 15 points off the bench, and Senario Hillman scored 14 for the Crimson Tide (4-3), which remained undefeated at home.

Alabama grabbed the lead midway through the first half, and began pulling away from the Jaguars as a 17-4 run helped the Crimson Tide to a 33-23 lead at the break. A 16-2 run that started five minutes into the second half made it 53-31, and put the game away.

The schedule gets much tougher for the Crimson Tide over the next 18 days, with road games against No. 18 Purdue, Providence and Oklahoma State. A recruiting class that ranked in the top 20 nationally is still getting its feet wet, and should be well-acquainted with the college landscape after those tests.

Martino Brock had 11 points to lead the Jaguars (2-4), who shot 32 percent (20 for 62) from the floor.
