E’Twaun Moore may have had an off day, but Purdue continued its impressive early-season run.

Moore scored 23 points on 8-of-17 shooting and knocked down five 3-pointers as the Boilermakers posted a 66-47 victory over Alabama on Saturday at Mackey Arena.

JaJuan Johnson had 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting and seven rebounds for the Boilermakers (7-1), who got just nine hoops in 29 shots from the rest of the team.

The teams were tied 16-16 with 5:51 to go in the first half, but a 14-0 run in the following 2 ½ minutes, capped by a 3-pointer by Moore, gave Purdue a comfortable 30-20 lead at halftime.

Tony Mitchell scored 14 points and grabbed nine boards for Alabama (4-4), and Trevor Releford chipped in 12 points.
