Ole Miss 89, Vanderbilt 79 (OT):

Reginald Buckner and Jarvis Summers each scored 14 points and forward Murphy Holloway added 12 points and eight rebounds for Ole Miss (14-2, 3-0), which trailed by 13 points at 67-54 with 8:39 remaining in regulation.

Guard Kedren Johnson scored 19 points and dished off a career-high nine assists for Vanderbilt (6-9, 0-3). Guard Dai-Jon Parker and forward Sheldon Jeter, both making their first career starts, added 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the Commodores, who shot just 43.5 percent (10-of-23) from the free throw line and missed their final five in regulation

But Ole Miss rallied with a late 19-5 run to take 73-72 lead on a Buckner dunk with 2:02 left.

Vanderbilt looked like it would win when freshman guard Kevin Bright nailed his fourth 3-pointer from the left corner with four seconds to go. But the Rebels immediately inbounded the ball and after Henderson sent the game into overtime with his long trey at the buzzer that tied it at 78, Ole Miss outscored the demoralized Commodores 11-1 in the extra period.
