: Rod Odom led the way with a career-high 24 points, and the Commodores nipped the visiting Tigers to pick up their first SEC win of the season.

Odom was 8-for-19 from the field, including 6-for-13 from 3-point range, and grabbed eight rebounds for the Commodores (9-6, 1-2 SEC), who have only seven scholarship players remaining. Kyle Fuller chipped in a season-high 22 points.

Jabari Brown led Missouri (13-3, 1-2) with 22 points on 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range. The rest of the Tigers were an abysmal 2-for-16 from beyond the arc, but Missouri was 19-for-22 from the free-throw line.

The Commodores opened the game on a 17-5 run, but the Tigers quickly answered with a 14-4 spurt of their own to pull within two midway through the frame. Vanderbilt took a seven-point lead to the break, but Missouri grabbed a lead when Jordan Clarkson's layup put the Tigers ahead by one less than five minutes into the second half.

Missouri got within one possession several times down the stretch but could never get back on top as the Commodores hit big shot after big shot to keep the Tigers at bay. The final one came from Fuller, who hit a step back jumper with a minute to play that effectively sunk Missouri.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
