No. 18 UNLV 77, Jacksonville State 58:
Mike Moser led five players in double figures with 19 points as the Runnin' Rebels cruised past the visiting Gamecocks.

Justin Hawkins came off the bench to score 16 points as UNLV won its 20th straight game at home. The Rebels outrebounded Jacksonville State 40-19.

The Runnin' Rebels (2-0) took a commanding 32-14 lead at the half despite several minutes of sloppy play. Moser had a dozen points at the break and UNLV pulled away even though it committed 11 first-half turnovers. The Gamecocks (3-1) were unable to capitalize, however, shooting 5-of-23 from the floor in the first half.

Jacksonville State's Darion Rackley made a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 11 with 5:35 to play, but UNLV scored the next six points to end any comeback hopes. Ronnie Boggs led the Gamecocks with 16 points.
