Tony Woods scored a career-high 17 points and tied a career-best with five blocked shots as the host Ducks rolled past the Gamecocks.

E.J. Singler added 11 points and Dominic Artis scored 10 as Oregon won its fourth consecutive game to start the campaign.

Chris Deanes scored 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting for Jacksonville State (3-2), which shot only 38.0 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from the free-throw line. The Gamecocks committed 23 turnovers.

Woods scored 12 first-half points as Oregon took a 37-20 lead. The Ducks scored the first seven points and were up 12-2 five-plus minutes into the game. Oregon’s advantage was 25-10 after Singler’s 3-pointer with 6:31 left in the half.

Oregon’s lead reached 20 for the first time on a basket by Austin Kuemper with 14:56 remaining. The Ducks’ lead topped out at 25 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oregon forward Carlos Emory exited late in the game after slipping and apparently injuring his left leg. … Jacksonville State was 3-for-10 from 3-point range and two of the treys came in the final 69 seconds. The Gamecocks have only 13 3-pointers through five games. … Rice transfer Arsalan Kazemi scored only two points in his second game for the Ducks, but had eight rebounds and five of Oregon’s 14 steals.
