Arsalan Kazemi had 20 points and five steals while Dominic Artis added 16 points as the host Ducks cruised past the Roadrunners.

Tony Woods scored 15 points and Waverly Austin added 10 as Oregon (6-1) shot 63.3 percent from the field, including 72 percent in the second half.

Jeromie Hill tallied 19 points, Michael Hale III scored 18 before leaving with a leg injury and Kannon Burrage chipped in 17 for Texas-San Antonio (3-3), which shot 56.6 percent and hit 9 of 16 3-point attempts.

Texas-San Antonio started the second half by going 6-of-7 from the field and was within 60-55 with 16:34 to play after Hale’s layup. But the Roadrunners then went cold and Oregon rattled off a 12-2 spurt to take a 72-57 lead on Austin’s hoop with 11:33 remaining.

Oregon trailed by three points six-plus minutes into the contest before rolling off 15 straight for a 33-21 lead with 9:25 left in the first half. The Ducks led 51-40 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ducks F E.J. Singler scored eight points and moved into 20th place on the school’s all-time list with 1,191. He passed Dick Wilkins (1,186 from 1944-48). … Texas-San Antonio committed 23 turnovers. … Oregon had a 28-17 rebounding edge.
