Senior forward Murphy Holloway scored 22 points as the Rebels improved to 9-0 at home and started 2-0 in the SEC for the first time since 2005-06.

Ole Miss (13-2, 2-0 SEC) dominated behind Holloway, who hit 8-of-12 shots, grabbed eight rebounds and made four steals. Jarvis Summers added 12 points and SEC leading scorer Marshall Henderson had 11.

Missouri (12-3, 1-1) sorely missed leading scorer Laurence Bowers (16.8 points, 6.9 rebounds), who is out at least another game with a sprained MCL. The Tigers set a season low in points while committing 19 turnovers.

The Rebels led 31-22 after holding the Tigers to 33.3 percent shooting (10-of-33) in the first half. The Tigers finished at 36.8 percent, including 2-of-18 from beyond the arc.

Oregon transfer Jabari Brown led Mizzou with 13 points, and Keion Bell added 11. Preseason SEC Player of the Year Phil Pressey had 10 points and five assists with five turnovers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Tigers reserve forward Tony Criswell played despite a broken bone in his left hand and scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting. ... Mississippi has beaten six of the last nine ranked opponents to visit Oxford. … Holloway fell two rebounds shy of posting his ninth double-double this season.
