Southern Illinois, No. 22 Wichita State 62: Senior guard T.J. Lindsay scored 14 off the bench and freshman guard Jalen Pendleton hit the winning jumper with three seconds left as the host Salukis handed the Shockers their third straight loss for the first time since Jan. 11, 2009.

Junior guard Desmar Jackson and senior guard Jeff Early each scored 11 for Southern Illinois (9-14, 2-10 Missouri Valley). Senior guard Demetric Williams led Wichita State (19-5, 8-4) with 15.

The Shockers scored only three points in the final five minutes of the first half, and the Salukis pulled to within one at the break.
