Oklahoma 86, Iowa State 69
: Romero Osby scored 22 points and the host Sooners tied the Division I record for most free throws without a miss in a rout of the Cyclones.

Osby made all 10 of his foul shots – part of a 34-for-34 showing for Oklahoma – which matches efforts by UC-Irvine in 1981 and Samford in 1990. Sam Grooms had 19 points and Steven Pledger added 14 for the Sooners (19-9, 10-6 Big 12).

Tyrus McGee scored 22 points off the bench for Iowa State (19-10, 9-7), going 6-for-9 beyond the arc. However, his teammates combined to make five of their 22 3-point tries.

The Sooners never trailed and took an early 12-2 lead on Amath M'Baye's 3-pointer 5:13 into the game. A 3-pointer by Grooms seconds before the break made it 40-28 and Oklahoma opened the second half on an 11-3 run, capped by a 3-pointer from Pledger that stretched the margin to 20.

Iowa State could get no closer than 15 thereafter as Oklahoma made 30 of its 34 free throws in the second half. Bubu Palo chipped in 12 points off the bench for the Cyclones.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pledger's fourth 3-pointer moved him past Hollis Price and into second place on the school's all-time list. ... The Cyclones were denied their first four-game winning streak in the series since 1965-66. ... Oklahoma held a 33-21 advantage on the glass and turned the ball over a season-low five times.
