San Diego State 70, Oklahoma 55: Jamaal Franklin had 21 points as the seventh-seeded Aztecs pulled away late to beat the Sooners in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia.

James Rahon added 17 points for the Aztecs (23-10), who will play Florida Gulf Coast in the South Regional quarterfinals Sunday.The Aztecs closed the game on a 22-7 run after Oklahoma tied it with 10:41 left.

Romero Osby led the 10th-seeded Sooners (20-12) with 22 points and eight rebounds. Amath M'Baye added eight points for Oklahoma, which was 5-of-20 from 3-point range and 4-of-8 from the free-throw line.

Oklahoma scored six straight points to tie the game at 48 with 10:41 left, but had only three field goals the rest of the way. Rahon answered an Osby 3-pointer with one of his own and Franklin pushed the lead to 61-51 with 4:27 left on a second-chance basket during the game-ending run.

The Sooners led 23-14 after Steven Pledger's 3-pointer with 9:40 left in the first half, but San Diego State used a 12-6 run to get within 33-31 by halftime. Franklin started the run with a three-point play and Rahon ended it with a pair of jumpers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Diego State has won 92 straight games when leading with five minutes left. ... Aztecs coach Steve Fisher improved to 15-6 all-time coaching against Oklahoma's Lon Kruger. ... San Diego State is 1-3 all-time against Oklahoma.
