Minnesota 71, Florida State 61: Andre Hollins scored a game-high 21 points as the Golden Gophers held off the visiting Seminoles in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Austin Hollins added 16 points and five rebounds for Minnesota (7-2), which turned the ball over just six times. Andre Hollins chipped in with four assists for the Golden Gophers, who scored 12 of their final 14 points from the free throw line.

Okaro White recorded 16 points and eight rebounds for Florida State (5-3), which was 2-for-10 from beyond the arc. Ian Miller provided a spark off the bench with 16 points and seven assists for the Seminoles.

Minnesota blew a tight game open with a 15-2 run that put the Golden Gophers up 23-12 after Austin Hollins' 3-pointer midway through the first half. Florida State slowly chipped away and trimmed the deficit to three following Miller's layup before Minnesota scored the last three points to take a 33-27 edge into the break.

The Golden Gophers opened the second half on a 10-1 run to push the lead to 15 before the Seminoles answered with a quick 7-0 spurt to claw within 43-35. Miller hit a pair of free throws to close the gap to four with 3:43 remaining, but the Seminoles could get no closer as Minnesota picked up its second consecutive victory over Florida State in the challenge despite shooting 34 percent from the field.
