No. 23 Iowa 84, No. 3 Ohio State 74: Roy Devyn Marble scored 22 points and the visiting Hawkeyes sent the Buckeyes to their second straight loss after a 15-0 start.

Aaron White had 19 points and Mike Gesell and Melsahn Basabe scored 11 apiece as the Hawkeyes (14-3, 3-1 Big Ten) snapped an eight-game skid against Ohio State. Jarrod Uthoff chipped in 10 points in a reserve role.

LaQuinton Ross led Ohio State (15-2, 2-2) with 22 points and seven rebounds but had five of his team's 17 turnovers. Amir Williams chipped in 11 points and Lenzelle Smith Jr. had 10.

Iowa hit three 3-pointers in less than two minutes to forge a 55-55 tie midway through the half and Josh Ogelsby had five points in less than a minute to create another deadlock before the Buckeyes went up 65-62. White had a dunk and and a jumper in a 12-3 push that put Iowa up 74-68 and the visitors hit 10-of-12 free throws in the final two minutes to pull away.

Neither team led by more than four points in the first half and White's layup gave Iowa a 41-38 advantage less than two minutes into the second. Ohio State replied with a 7-0 run capped by a big dunk by Smith and gained a nine-point advantage on Amedeo Della Valle's 3-pointer with just under 13 minutes left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ohio State suffered its first loss Tuesday at Michigan State. ... Iowa had a 41-30 rebounding advantage and turned the ball over just 10 times. ... The Hawkeyes won in Columbus for the first time since Feb. 18, 2004.
