No. 10 Kansas 77, Oklahoma State 70 (OT): Andrew Wiggins had 30 points, eight rebounds and three steals to lead the Jayhawks past the Cowboys in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City.

Wayne Selden Jr. added 14 points and Tarik Black matched a career best with 12 rebounds as top-seeded Kansas (24-8) advances to face fourth-seeded Iowa State (24-7) in Friday’s semifinals. Perry Ellis tipped in the tiebreaking points with 2:26 remaining in the extra session as part of a game-ending 9-0 burst.

Le’Bryan Nash had 19 points and seven rebounds and Phil Forte III added 16 points for eighth-seeded Oklahoma State (21-12). Marcus Smart recorded 14 points and seven rebounds and Markel Brown added 12 points.

Wiggins had 13 first-half points as the Jayhawks led 32-23 at the break. Kansas was up 11 early in the second half before Oklahoma State used a 14-5 burst to move within 43-41 on Forte’s 3-pointer with 13 minutes remaining.

The Cowboys trailed by eight before scoring seven straight points in a 24-second span to pull within 57-56 with 6:33 remaining in regulation and eventually held a 67-65 lead after Brown’s 3-pointer with 1:30 left. Wiggins hit the tying basket 26 seconds later and Forte’s 3-pointer in the opening minute marked Oklahoma State’s lone points of the overtime as Kansas controlled the extra session.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wiggins has scored 71 points on 21-of-35 shooting over the past two games. … Oklahoma State committed two of its five turnovers in the overtime and forced the Jayhawks into 14 miscues in the contest. … Kansas dominated the boards 46-30.
