Wynston Tabbs is doing his best to make people forget about Jerome Robinson in his first season at Boston College, which concludes its non-conference schedule Monday against visiting Hartford. Tabbs has scored in double figures in six straight games, five of them wins for the Eagles, who will be in search of their eighth victory in nine meetings with the Hawks.
N.C. Asheville at Vanderbilt 2:00 PM ET
Vanderbilt suffered a big setback with the season-ending knee injury to freshman point guard Darius Garland, but entering Monday’s home contest with UNC Asheville the Commodores are finding stability thanks to Saben Lee. The sophomore guard, who saw time running the Vanderbilt offense a season ago, is back at point guard full time and energized the Commodores in Saturday’s 95-76 triumph over Tennessee State with 23 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field.

South Carolina looks to take advantage of what should be an easy matchup when it hosts NCAA Division II North Greenville on Monday. The Gamecocks are looking to snap a four-game skid as they play their final tune-up before beginning SEC play.

Eighth-ranked Gonzaga hopes to ring in the New Year with a four-game winning streak after it hosts Cal State Bakersfield on Monday night. Since losing back-to-back games to No. 3 Tennessee (76-73) and at 14th-ranked North Carolina (103-90), the Zags have won three games by an average of 46.7 points.
